To say that Vijay is excited about his penultimate film, Venkat Prabhu’s GOAT (Greatest of All Time), which he is doing to focus on his political journey would be a massive understatement. Saturday’s trailer has caused more hype for thalapathy vijay movies GOAT. Again, this has everything to do with understanding popular culture and nothing to do with politics. In Tamil cinema, Ghilli is pop cultural phenomena. But in Telugu and Hindi cinema it’s not the same. So we hummed a little bit of Vijay Sir’s Mission Impossible theme. After all, Ghilli is more popular in Tamil than Mission Impossible isn’t it?

We took naturally into consideration what we had received during “Spark” song & posters. When we first prepared for this role as a 22-23 year old one Vijay sir warned us against making it look like him too much. The jaw line is where most attention should be paid when it comes to a person’s face.
Since everybody knows Viay Sir’s face by heart they are also some times at pains taking some time to get accustomed he looks different which in fact took us sometime getting used to his new appearance anyway. We also learned a lesson there though. At that point in time we sought ways that would help avoid too many drastic changes in appearance for this reason (Sundance). I like the Will Smith’s film by itself. If you had watched Chennai 600028-2 trailer, I would have told you the movie’s one-liner. It tells about friends searching for their lost bridegroom. I could have also said my own movie reminded me of The Hangover as means of joking around with it.Well do these two movies look alike? Definitely no! Similarly, thalapathy vijay movies GOAT is not just another movie like Gemini Man. All that distinguishes it from any other thing is that Gemini Man was the first to use de-aging technology.
On Mohan’s villainous role and including three greatest romantic heroes ever in one film
The decision to cast Mohan sir as an antagonist was fascinating because it opened up new dimensions for him as a performer and created curiosity about him among audience members. This looked nice for Vijay Sir on the other hand (Variety).
However, I have actors like Prashanth sir and Mohan sir in the company and hence can’t imagine any romantic songs for these two performers. Isn’t it a Vijay film, after all?
He named his main character Gandhi once and illustrated him as being involved in several vices.
Gandhi is my friend. Do you know what he does in real life? I can’t even tell on stage. There is only one Mahatma Gandhi, there’s a catch that makes him a Mahatma. These sorts of comparisons simply don’t work at all.

Of course, I am so fond of CSK and Dhoni. Indeed GOAT has put a lot of work into these two events particularly. On comparing Vijay sir to MSD however I do not think that I know the latter well enough. As part of GOAT where I’ve been with Vijay sir for over a year now, travelling, speaking to him like buying food from vendors among other things; I mean I really know this man’s personality well enough by now… Only within limits though — if ever given an opportunity to travel with Dhoni at whatever point for 12 months on end.

Many things in GOAT are directly linked to me alone self-wise but then there are times both in the trailer or even through out the movie when I have had to compromise Mr.Vijay Sir’s theatre audience too as well.I also need those moments of great theatre. Neither do I want to even think about starting any trends. All I mean is for the people who came to watch my film to have fun. In addition, I used a Master reference in the trailer too. Let’s not forget that Lokesh Kanagaraj has done something that is really awesome already known, why not use it?
About Vijay switching from movies to politics
I also like everyone else sitting here and a fan of Vijay would love to see more films with him as well . When I actually asked him whether he could do both jobs simultaneously all he managed to say was “we’ll see” with a grin on his face. We’ve all been hoping that we can get him on television at last. But dreams are there too; he has a goal. I believe it’s one we should support.
Regarding allusions to Ajith-VP’s Mankatha and the performer’s reaction to GOAT
Indeed, both Ajith Sir in Mankatha and Vijay sir in GOAT said something similar during their conversation. But this is not meant for any particular fandom though right? It was an exchange between Venkat Prabhu, not Ajith speaking out; I mean real life statements by Ajith sir in Mankatha and vijay sir in goat , and that sums it up!
Also, Ajith sir saw the trailer and immediately sent me message on praising Vijay sir and his team. He is currently shooting his next movie, so I didn’t want to disturb him.
I mean why wasn’t Trisha in the trailer who is said to be in GOAT for that matter?
Remember I did not know that Trisha is in the GOAT. It would be great if she does appear in the film but I am not sure.

Everybody can join. Premgi could too. But what’s more important here is “why should i share my family’s opinions and emotions?” Will you please tell me about your family affairs?
