Cricket fans are rushing to One8 Commune’s Hitech City branch, its newest outlet. First floor of the Loft building is where it is located. Why? This one is among the restaurants associated with cricket legend Virat Kohli. At the entrance to this eatery stands a sign bearing “Hyderabad Kohling!”, which has become the latest site for photoshoots.

The interiors incorporate earthy shades of light brown and include furniture made out of cane and wicker, as well as lamps and fans. There is a background view of a high rise made of glass and metal. We are also working on a soy version of haleem and have local favorites like Hyderabadi khatti dal, anda keema and pav. That much work turned out pretty well.
The topic of regional flavors was when Byadgi mirchi paneer and lime chilli pickled hot prawns were served. Paneer characterized as spicy due to full flavoring and considerable heat caused by the chili. Similarly, it was quite hot because pickled lemon prawns used green chilies. The last touch is local addition of curry-patta tadka (curry leaf tempering).

Menu with a variety of dishes such as Modern Indian, regional, Asian and continental cuisines. These include pizza, khatti dal, mutton rogan josh, sliders and international favorites like laksa and hawker-style noodles. Under the same section called “Pasta and Large Plates”, there are also some old-fashioned options like penne grilled fish or spaghetti aglio e olio.
But since it was still early for dinner I preferred to go in for kheema ghotala which tasted lovely accompanied by warm toasted pav topped with butter.
Moreover, when it comes to desserts one can choose from coconut tres leches; burnt basque cheesecake and tiramisu cornetto temptations. Because the insects would not leave me alone I decided not to sit outside.
